Announcement of the selected proposals for the 5th Ryugu Sample AO

In June 2024, ASRG called for proposals worldwide for the fifth Announcement of Opportunity (AO) for the Ryugu sample. We received 36 notices of intent, and 24 research proposals from 9 different countries. After careful deliberation, the Ryugu Sample AO Panel selected 17 proposals for adoption, and allocated 32 pristine samples for distribution. ASRG will now prepare the samples for distribution to the Principal Investigator of each of the successful proposals.
