Visit to the curation facility - members of the Hayabusa2 Project Operations & Recovery Team.

Dr. Yuichi Tsuda, former project manager, and other members of the Hayabusa 2 Project Operations & Recovery team visited the curation facility, where the samples from the asteroid Ryugu are handled.

Three years have passed since the samples were returned, and more than 1,000 samples have been individually recovered from the sample catcher. The team members observed the samples being stored through the windows of the clean chamber and learned how the samples are distributed from here to researchers around the world.

The emotion of the sample's return to Earth came back to our minds, and we shared again the connection between the project, curation and researchers over a long period of time.
