Call for proposals for the 14th Announcement of Opportunity (AO14) for Hayabusa (Itokawa) samples is now open

The call for proposals for research on samples returned by Hayabusa from asteroid Itokawa (14th Announcement of Opportunity, AO14) is now open. Participation is open to all researchers capable of handling and analyzing particles in the size range of 20 to 50 micrometers.

This AO follows a series of international calls conducted since 2012. All submitted proposals will undergo peer review, and samples allocated to successful proposers will be available for a period of one year. The samples available for allocation in this AO can be selected from the sample catalog.
